The mats can be purchased directly from Upgrade and they're not magnetic.

Just wanted to let everyone know that the size of the Pit Mat is 19 3/4" X 20 1/2". The retail price on the mat is $59.99. Thanks for all the great feedback. Check the Upgrade site on a regular basis as we have a lot more cool products coming soon.

yes, as someone else stated, add magnetic sections or heck, maybe evern the entire perimeter with the flexible magnets.. that way nothing escapes......
