I have this idea for a design on a body, but it will require very fine and precise lines.

Is there some sort of ink (my microns rub off easily) that will stick to lexan and wont rub of or bleed into the paint?

I thought about using a pen-type paintbrush, but I'm unsure if the paint will come out evenly.

You can use regular sharpie permanent markers, and then back them up with a solid color. Works for me.

wow.. those parma markers look about exactly what I'm looking for.

i tried using a sharpie on my old skyline body, but it bled into the paint.

well, u need to let it dry for at least an hour before spraying. Anyway, i'm curious about those parma markers. Post your results as soon as u can:).

Oh, I most definetely will.

I'm going to buy some body, try doing something cool with it with the markers and my leftover airbrush junk, and hope I can get at least my money back when I sell it. :D (I'm not even going to try competing with adrcracing with those cool true-fire 100-200 dollar bodies)

There was a "little" bleeding when I tried the sharpie permanent markers on this RX-8 body - 24 hrs. prior to painting. Maybe because it's water based?

Good Luck with the parma pens.

Yeah. But that bleeding is almost invisible. Nice paint job, i'm REALLY impressed. But, most sharpies aren't water-based... Anyway, like i said before, next time just let it dry, but REALLY dry, like, 1 hour at least. If it is sharpie, it will really stick to the lexan.
