i went to replace my motor brushed but they are attached to that little clip thingy that holds it to the motor. do i need to buy new clips or can i cut em and solder em on. i figure i can solder them because there is a drop of solder there already

Are you talking about the little eyelet that a screw runs thru? If this is the case, unscrew them, discard them, and yes... solder them babies on. I prefer to solder on my brushes. Be sure you have some needle nose pliers or something to hold the wire (not the brush) while you solder. They get hot fast! If you hold the brush, you risk damaging it.

Cut off eyelet/terminal and solder directly to endbell. Make sure you replace the screw that held the terminal to the endbell.

Dude, get a brushless motor, they are Fast like a bat outta he11 and i mean Dumb fast and no brushs to worry about, quick cooling

Well, I know that Aeveox makes them, and so does GM Racing, but who here has 600 bucks lying around for a BL motor system? Not me...

Also, keep in mind a few things, do not praise things that you have not tried, because when you do, people on the board do not trust you as much, just a personal opinion, and please, do not bypass the language filters, they are there for a reason.
