T-maxx to E-maxx?

Hey guys i have a t-maxx with quite a few upgrades and im looking into turning it into a brushless E. Would it be easier to just buy an E-maxx and going from there or do you think i should just buy the emaxx tranny chasis etc?

I would say go with getting an e-maxx chassis and tranny. I think you will have to do something with the diffs. I may be wrong but I think they spin opposite directions or something. I know when I got my UE diff cases I there was a step that was different for nitro and electric.

I agree about just keeping your Tmaxx parts and just adding the center chassis and tranny to make it an emaxx. You're ahead of the game right there if you already have some upgrades on the rest of the chassis. I would suggest looking around for different emaxx center chassis to meet your needs. There are a lot out there to choose from.

Yes the diffs on the tmaxx have to be flipped around such that the rounded side faces the opposite direction.

Edited: You can also buy the tranny parts from tower if you can't get them for cheap on ebay.
