Hi All:
I'm sure that there are a few of us hardcore XX-4 racers out there. Heres a thread to discuss setups/motors/gearing/tips etc of these great vehicles. Fire away!

Hey, next time, post this in the Vehicle Forum ;)
The XX-4 is a sweet car, but i do not think that the single belt drive can handle the abuse of off road with low turn mods, and a lot of bite to the track...

I have no doubt that the single belt drive train can handle low turn mods, there running 7 and 8 turn mods in the xxxs now. I Really do think that off orad might put a little more stress on the belt' with the larger size wheels and big air jumps at most tracks. Although, the sedan does have a design that acually tightings the belt under stress. I think this design will come in handy, so i doubt the single belt design would have any problems. :)

xx4 :P
Even know that losi claims the xxx-s is a tourer built from the ground up, i would like to see a single belt 4wd off road buggy by losi with triple x tech.
That would be nice.

Sorry to All:
I just had a nightmare! Nobody wants to talk about 4WD OFF ROAD! Why not? It is the Supreme Electric Off Road Class...next

Hehe, i already tried to move it, but i remember, i can't, I don't have.......the...power!
I still think that 1 belt can't handle off road, i see people blowing out belts(the heavy duty green) in theor WE cars.
I know that they are running 7-8 turn mods in TC class, which is way out of hand, but not only do they not have to lug around those larger wheels and tires, it is also the car itself, and the drivetrain(read:driveshafts) and such that are smaller, and lighter-weight, making less work on the motor AND the driveline
