Need to drill body mounting holes/ windshield - cooling head cut outs. What is the best thing to use for a clean cut?

i'd propbly use a dremel
Best thing to use for body posts holes is to use a body reamer (http://www2.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin/wti0001p?&I=LXDCG6&P=7). Prices range from $10 to whatever. It will give you the cleanest most accurate holes out there.
For windshield holes, a lot of people tend to go for a circle cutter (http://www2.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin/wti0001p?&I=LXHEA0&P=ML) because if you cut straight edges with corners as what you would do if you cut out a square, the corners are a prime place for the lexan to rip.
I used to use a dremel and scalpel for my body post holes and windshield holes, but now I sware by the reamer and circle cutter.

I use a drill press. If you don't have one then a body reamer would be your best best. A dremel could work too.

I actually used a hole saw for cutting wood to make the window hole on my Revo. Worked pretty good too.

For big holes I use a hole saw too, but it needs some kind of backup to help it cut right (clean hole) and that can be a pain.
After watching Paulie on American Chopper use that stepped bit, I went an bought the 1/2" - it's an Irwin Unibit and drills holes from 1/8" to 1/2". Its easy to control and I use it to drill body post holes, antenna holes etc. Its real easy to control and cuts a smooth clean hole. A little expensive, but high quality tools are not cheap.
