I went to buy a new esc for my Wild Dagger with Saphire mod motors, my hobby shop set me up with a Duratrax Blast. Now it's burned up because they were wrong :( . I'm out shopping for a new esc that will work with double motors down to 15. Deos anyone know how to be sure what the double motor limit is on esc's?

Add the turns of the motors together and divide by two(example..two 10 turn motors would be like having one 5 turn motor)If you do this you will be able to choose the correct esc!The novak super rooster would be a good choice!! ;)

Thanks! :D I was planning to get a super rooster anyways. I just wanted to know what how fast of double motors you can use on speedos that don't tell you up front like the super rooster does. I don't want to burn another one up, if i do, this'll be the third one!

I heard that the esc that they put in e-maxxes were pretty good and since they have 2 motors that should be ideal.

I also thought about the Emaxx esc, but I wasn't sure what it could do(motors), everything is specked in terms of 550 motors.

I also would like to build a double ta03, then convert it to rally duty ;)

I've been into the whole dual motor everything lately :D An Emaxx sounds like a good idea

If u r running 15 turn motors, then dont get a EVX, they cant handle it, theres are 19 turns, so your motors would blow it, and it to expensive. U might be able to get a rooster combo and run twin packs. Just my cents cents.

Isn't the Dually a forward only? I wouldn't really keep that in mind for monster purposes. Reverse can get you out of lots of stuff. It is also fun to play with.
