I have two electric rustlers and one has an ESC in it and the other has a MSC. The one with the MSC will run three times longer on a battery then the one with the ESC. I'm new to electrics and am not sure if this is right or not. They both are running stock motors. Also the one with the MSC runs faster than the other. Please help.

switch motors and try it, they should be the same.

The pinion/spur gear mesh might be too tight on the one with the ESC, that or something is binding in the transmission or front wheel bearings. You may also just have a bad motor or ESC. Are you using the same batteries in both? The Rustler with the ESC should be running faster and longer than the MSC.

Yes I'm using the same battery in both. I'll try switching the motors to see if that works or not.

Make sure to check your trasmission to see if there is any binding that'd slow down your car.

First check and see if both trucks are running wheel bearings or bushings. :eek:
