Honestly, it really just comes down to which one has the best LOCAL parts support. No matter which you get, if a little part breaks & you can't find a replacement easily, you'll just get frustrated VERY quickly. That being said, both are excellent, competitive cars(though if you're looking at competing, I would reccomend that if you get a TC4 you make it the Factory Team version, the tub chassis one flexes WAY too much & does so unpredictably, so it tends to make the handling inconsistent, but the carbon fiber chassis of the FT car really helps it take advantage of its suspension, very good car, it's what I race with). And something else to consider is to check out what other guys at your local track are using, it always helps to use a car that others there know the hot setup for than to have one that no one has any experience with.....

I have a TC4 FT (for sale actually), and it's been a great car. Used it strictly on carpet. The only weak part of the car has been the caster blocks, so stock up on them.

I think it'd be pretty much bullet proof if RPM or someone came out with a wider bumper like they did for the TC3.
