First things first? Do you have a ESC or a MSC? If you have a ESC whats the motor limit? As for picking a motor I like Trinity Motors. If you want longer batt life go with a stock 27 turn motor. A P2k(more punch) or a GM 2(more top end) will do a good job. If you want something a bit faster go with a Speed Gems motor whatever your speed control will handle. These motors run $28 each. As for cheap batt tower has a special 1500mah with sanyo cells for 11.99 item SS3101 you can only get one but its a good battery. If you get more 1500mah stick with that one or the trinity amp max both of these use sanyo cells. Another place I would check is
ultimatehobbies.com You will have to call but they have some cheap batteries. 1500 Orion 9.99, Orion 2400mah for 19.99, Peak 2400 sanyo cells for $35.

Sounds like you got some good gear to work with. The P2k should be fine, but I use a 15x Monsters of Touring in my B3. Plenty of speed for me, and if it wears out, I don't have to worry about comm lathes or new brushed (only $15 for a new one). As for the batteries, I have 2000 mAH stick packs, but I'll be uograding to 2400 matched packs from Integy.

what are some REALLY fast motors that can fit in the rc10b3 with a lot of torque, top end and low end?
