Duratrax failsafe BORKED?

I purchased one of these a few days ago and set it up according to the back of the package and i tell you what.

My car runs away on me more and cuts out on me before i installed it!!!!

for no reason at all the car will stop in its tracks (red light flashing saying no signal or whatever) or just plainly run away on me crashing into something :mad:

So i took it out and ive been having nothing but great times.

what the heck can be happening?

i know someone who has a venom smart temp and they had some weird problems at first, turns out the factory settings arent worth crap, and every time it would get "out of range" (according to the failsafe), it would go WOT, but that was because of the servo reverse, if its adjustable then read the little manual paper thingy that comes with it, now its flawless,if not, maybe charge your transmitter batteries up and the receiver batteries (unless they are alkalines) , i think that was also one of the things causing his troubles
