yo sick pics, yodaman where do you live? I'm out of Bridgeport, CT and maybe we can get together and bash one day :D .

There's also an on-road track here in BPT if you have any on-roads. ;)

I really would like to get an onroad vehicle. Got any spots in mind to bash? I am thinking of heading up to bethel BMX soon, they have some giant tabletops and cool burms to cruise around. I want to bring a video camera and edit a video too! I live in New Milford.

ever been to Wolcott Raceway?

their race is always open even at night with lights and such its an awesome place.

If you want pure bashing in Fairfield/ Bridgeport there's 90 acre's, on one side its a golf course on the other its maybe 20 acres or more of flat dirt. We can set up ramps and launch the trucks.

What do you have btw?

I also have a Kodak Camera with a 2GB card i can record 88minutes of video, its not Camcorder quality, but I can make it look decent on the pc, i have a few years of video and photo editing behind me

Cool,

Xtreme RC is down the street from Hobby Town USA in New Milford right?

that's where I bought my first ever nitro an RS4 RTR but this was back in 1998, and I haven't been there since 2000 so I don't even remember.

I have a Traxxas Revo, RD Mongoose, and HPI RS4 btw

Yea, its under new ownership and they redid the track last year and again this year. The track is a lot of fun, big jumps, fast straights, some technical sections etc..

If you ever have the opurtunity to come down to BPT to the track here, maybe we can hook up with Sab who comes here sometimes and spend a day there, but its on-road :( .

You can run an off-road on it, who cares :p

I wish Hobbytown USA was still in Southington, I live in Meriden and that's a bit far from Wolcott Raceway. Those pics are nice, and I can't wait till I have enough time and money to take advantage of the fact that most of the good tracks are here in CT.

We also have Speed Zone in Rocky Hill. I havn't raced there but I know some of the Wolcott guys have. I met Dave and went to the Monster Jam show in Hartford this past February and had a good time and the folks there seem to be pretty cool.

go right ahead

the track is opened everyday but technically it isnt monday because Aces the hobby shop there controlls it and they arent open on monday so its rare for the track to be open on mondays

every other day its open and there are races on sunday

The track is open to the public now as I went there for two mondays - the gate was open. :) I'm trying to get my GT ready so I can run at Xtreme. All I need is an engine and some more spares. ST racing is SOO cheap! :D

Stop smoking...and drinking...

It will take you 45 minutes or more on a good day of traffic to get from NYC to pass where I am in Port Chester NY. For me to go to Xtreme RC (New Milford, CT will take me probably an HR. Don't forget you'd have to pay tolls to get up here as well and that will run you $4.80. Gas is high as well..costing over $3.11 There is a track at Gun hill rd in the bronx and that's your best bet. He will probably post something about driving fast, but don't listen to him. Connecticut cops are ALWAYS on the prowl and they WON'T hesitate to pull you over if you're speeding, swerving, and constant lane changing. Don't forget traffic on the highways will always be bad leaving the city specially on weekends. Drive at a moderate 60-70mph and DO respect work lane speed limits.
