??? SETTING THE ELECTRONICS ???

Hi,
I need help setting the electronics for my HPI RS4 MT. What connects to what? I have a Futaba sport radio system set S3003, Traxxas XL-1 ESC, Midnight 2 motor? What are all the things i need to put the connectors on my motor? (it didnt come with a set).

Well that's easy...

1. connect the futaba servo to your receiver in channel 1.

2. connect the esc to your receiver again but to channel 2.

3. if your esc has four wires then the colors should be: blue & yellow, red & black.

4. if not then i am not familiar with traxxas escs

5. if step 3 is then goto step 6 :D

6. the yellow & blue wires are your motor connectors... which should be bullet type

7. yellow is positive & blue is negative.

8. connect them according to polarity.

9. the red & black wires are your battery connectors... which should have a tamiya type connector.

10. connect the battery your esc

11. you should be done if that's the type of wires you have...

anyway,

make sure you have everything

the traxxas ESC has red and black wires

on your motor on the top there should be a little plus sign on one of the sides

the red wire goes on the plus side tab

on the minus side the black one should go

the connect those to your prewired ESC

the radio system wiring is the same as above (what the other guy said)
