I need help with a squeling tranny in a RC10T

the tranny squels when I start off buy gunning the throttle

Perhaps your slipper is too loose. Take the back end of the truck, push it down and hold both wheels tight and spin the spur gear with your thumb. It should be reasonably stiff, but you should still be able to turn it with some force. If it turns really easily, tighten the slipper. This is just my guess though. I have a GT and I noticed a squeal with mine too. It eventually went away after a few tanks of break in. I'm sure somebody out there knows more about this than me though! Matt

I think that KC10 is right on the money, do the test and see what happens. The other way to do it is hold the Truck down and hit the throtle if it easily squeels then the slipper is too loose. It should kinda lunge forward and slowly squeel. Thats how I set mine any how.
