Josh forget the guy above, for fastest possible speeds check out hg's tranny gears.
Gear high and pick up a hand wound modified 10-12 turn motor.

Hey if I got a faster motor then i would also need a better speed control right necause i think mine would fry...I found this motor in my rc car stuff how can i tell what turn it is and all that stuff..how do u measure rpms.....Alsoooo what are the longest lasting batter packs because mine drain really fast and it gets boring...Thats why i am getting into nitro trucks....
geta novak C2, it's can handle any motar, and its got very good curent

Good choice :p
Um... you might want to keep about a 15 turn to get good run times. I think all of ae's esc can handle 15t, except the runner plus.

Try a 9 or 16 turn Trinity P-94

And if you want a new ESC I reccomend a Novak Dually or a IPC pro sport. Both have no motor limit and are forward only.

OK well, it seems you are getting lots of bad advice. First off there are two catagories for your budget, a lot, and not a lot!
A lot:
Trinity P-94 10T $50
LRP Pro Reverse $100
MRC Super Brain 959 $50
2 3000Mah Heavy Metal stick $60 x 2
Not a lot:
Trinity speed Gems 2 12 Diamond $35
LRP Super Reverse $85
MRC Super Brain 959 $50
Team Orion maxx paxx 2400Mah x2 $45
This should get you going real fast!!!!
Also you might want to change your gearing too but I don't know what you tranny ratio is so I can't help you there.
