Can anyone provide some feedback on this charger? I've found it for sale at several online retailers and it seems pretty comparable to the more expensive Duratrax ICE but I can't seem to find a web site for Hyperion themselves at which to get more detailed information.
Many retailers even link to a PDF of the manual for the EOS5i but all host it locally, does Hyperion not have a web site of their own?
I'm interested in a charger primarily for lipo use but it would be nice to be able to use it for the occasional NiMH pack or transmitter pack, etc.

I would just get the Duratrax. At $125, its not much more expensive than the charger you listed, and it includes some features that may be useful down the line that aren't included in the charger you mentioned.

Thanks, the price difference is significant to me since it represents an extra battery pack but it feels sketchy buying a charger from a company I've never heard of that doesn't even seem to have their own website (versus Duratrax who I can remember being around back in the Kyosho Raider and Tamiya Grasshopper days). I'll probably go with the ICE.

Hyperion also makes another model (EOS7i) that has higher charging capablitities that is more in line with the Duratrax Ice for the same price. There are several chargers out there with very similar specs. I also have searched for info on the Hyperion chargers, but I found the best info about them on model airplane threads. The airplane guys have been using these chargers for a while now it appears. I would reccommend doing a search on the rcgroups forum website. There is a decent amount of info on that forum site. http://www.rcgroups.com/forums/index.php
