Led Light Hookup.....

Do you guys know how to wire LED brake lights to whatever make them glow brighter on a savage ss 25 with the lights on the body ( fog head and brake lights ) ??????......

please tell me were to and how to connect the sensor ( or whatver its called... im a noob.. :) .....)

If you bought a kit, You should just have to mount the lights wherever you want them to go and there should be a small micro-switch for the brake lights. Thats when you might have to get creative. The micro switch needs to be mounted in such a way that when you apply the brakes, your servo arm/horn also activates the switch at the same time. If you can't mount it where the servo arm can hit the switch by itself, you might be able to attach a small arm onto the servo horn or linkage that would activate the switch a little easier. on the savage the arm that activates the brakes sticks out over the side of the TVPs (bit bit that is attached to the servo). if you glue or double sided tape the switch to the left hand side chassis plate (from the back), just in front of the arm that activates the brakes, then djust it before the glue dries so that when you press full brake on the tranny, the arm has just touched the switch, so that the switch itself doesnt limit the brakes. if you get it right it will look gr8 in the dark when you stab the brakes.
