Make sure you have a runner to go into the Hobby Shop and get stuff you need. :)

Most important is bringing a positive attitude.

I try to take all my spare parts, every tool needed to take any part off and extra things like glue, dremel ect. Anything you might forget shouldnt matter because there are usually other people at the track to help out

Don't forget the skillz.

Take all your R/C equipment. You never know what can & will happen while racing, and you don't want to be forced to leave if you left something at home.

Nobody's done a list for you yet, so here's what I can think of off the top of my head:

1. Car (of course)
2. Speed Control (should be in your car)
3. Motor (and any spares if you have them)
4. Charger
5. Four tires
6. Spare tires
7. Toolbox (screwdrivers, etc)
8. Transmitter
9. Car box (the box your kit came in... it's probably got your instructions and some spare parts)
10. Extra parts case (I have a case for my extra parts)
11. Discharger (not necessary, but if you have one...)
12. Battery packs (bring every one you have, even if they are junk packs... you'll need a lot of practice)
13. Table
14. Chairs
15. Surge protector
16. Extra wire, fuses, etc.
17. Extension cord
18. All necessary tools (Associated shock tool, wheel nut wrenches, etc)
19. Money :D
20. Directions to the track
21. Power supply (if you have one, bring it in case the AC power goes off)
22. Extra batteries (AA)
23. Soldering kit
24. Solder
25. Towel
26. Double-sided tape, masking tape, duct tape, scotch tape, electrical tape (just in case)
27. Car stand (if you don't have one, make one out of wood or something)
28. Hobby knives and extra blades
29. RCCA Magazines (any applicable mags, such as setup tips, bulletproofing you car, etc)
30. Multimeter
31. Drill and drill bits
32. Snacks, food, water

Look around your house and bring anything else you might need. Good luck and get to the track early. You want to have as much practice as you can get (don't worry about not using your batteries twice - when I raced three weeks ago I used two of my packs three times).

Have fun!

Maybe you should just visit an actual race and see what everybody brings. Sometimes you can bring too much "junk".

bring any thing that deals with your truck, becuase if you forgot it, like kevin "homer" hitmanksi did in a picture once, you'll want to throw your tool box out of a two story window!

32. lathe and accecories(if have one)
33. tooth brush and large brush to rush off tires and parts.
34. a can or 2 of compresed air to blow off cars
35. motor spray
36. an extra 1157 light bulb if you use a bulb discharger
37. tread lock
38.shrink wrap and heat gun
39. zip ties
40. band aids(i found i should keep more of these on sunday, i got a huge gash in my finger luckly the hobbyshop had some)

I think you should always have a back up body for you truck or buggie......its also a big plus when you first start racing. My first ever race i did 4 front flips off of a jump due to being stupid. Nothing was hurt beside the body and little pieces of it on the track.

Some places you can't race without a body so just in case id have a back up one on hand.

I just take stuff i really need.

All the tools you would use to take your truck totaly apart, extra parts if you have any, more then one set of tires, all the batts you have (no matter if they are 1300's).

Just the stuff you know you will need, worry about the table and chair's later on cuz most of the time you won't need them. Matter of fact my Ford Explorer is my pit area....even have a place to plug in my charger.

Bring your skillz and a positive attitude liek others have said and you will be find. You don't need to lug all of your R/C stuff to the track.

Smokey - No, I lied. I started the post thinking that I was only going to type a few things off the top of my head, but then I decided to open the checklist I had for racing. :D

J mAn - Good additions. A lot of those things fall under other categories for me (body clips go under spare parts box) or common sense (pencil or pen). Now I've read two things about needing band-aids at the track, so I'll have to bring them next time... just in case...
