This is an ausome story about what my freind did with his truck

This is ausome!!!My friend bought a Electric Rustler about 2 years ago!!!He then bought a T-MAXX and dosnt use his rustler any more!!!Then i gave him an idea!!!I said you should totally soop the thing up as much as u can and then go to the Moto Cross track and drive the truck at full speed off the 35 foot ramp for the stunt devil show in town!!!He said O.K.Well when i said totally soop the thing up i didnt mean to put $800 into it!!{HES RICH**Well he already had a Novak super rooster ESC in it and top of the line bearings!!Well then he bought a 9 turn triple wind motor from Team Orion!!And then he bought every possible thing to make the truck indestructable like every titanium and alumanum part out there!!!There was now hardly ant plastic on the whole truck!!Then i told him to get Racing slicks so he could get more speed so he did!!!The next thing to do was to get the gearing perfect which he did! He geared it all for speed because he had over 200 feet to get BIG speed it was also on new black asphalt so it was as as smoth as a babies __________!!He also got 12 cells in it somehow!!Really to make this shorter he got every top of the line thing possible for almost every part of the truck! He Really didnt care if the truck got ruined on a bad landing because he had his $$$$ and his T-MAXX!!So we get to the track and they had it all ready for us to jump to the clouds!!They also had a radar to detect the speed right before he hit the jump!!His top speed ended up to be 77.554 MPH!!!Thats pertty sweet!!!He ended up jumping 358 feet!!!That is more than a football fiels!!!!!WOW!!!He ended up breaking 3 of the wheels off, both the back shocks snapped!!The chassis completley snapped in half!!The motor got burnt out in the air probley because of the high gearing and the 12 3000 mah cells!!!the ESC fried!!!the back body mounts melted beacuse of the motor heat!!!So u get the picture he pertty much totalled the darn thing!!!Well i wonder what the jumping distance World record is for an RC!!!Maybe we should have called the Gueness book of World records up to see if he broke the record!!!
WELL IF U READ THIS FAR TELL ME WHAT U THINK ABOUT THIS!!!!I do have pics of this but there on photopoint and photopoint isnt free any more and i dont want to pay so i cant show the pics unless i figure out a new way!!!!

when i read this i was thinking poser. There arent that many options for the Rustler man...titanium? aluminum? yeah, aluminum shocks. I cant imagine it doing over 50...Greg got a stampede to do 50, but its Greg we are talking about...get some pics of atleast the broken car, and ill believe you.

It sounds possible to me, but we still need proof. Keep in mind he said 12 cells and a 9 turn motor with super-tall gearing. You want upgrades for a Rustler? Check out the Hammad Ghuman stuff.

with low gearing and a long runway that sounds possible(how high was the ramp from the ground?) 158 feet is really not that unnattainable. Too bad he wasted the money on all that alluminium, If he was just going to wreck the car he would have gone faster and futher with lighter plastic stuff, then again it may have melted before it reached the ramp.

Keep in ming athletes could probably throw the car that far and they probably don't have a launch velocity of 70mph, which is easy with low gearing and $800 worth of hopups.

Isky what are you talking about? I have seen quite a few aluminum hop ups for the electric rustler including an aluminum chassis. I've seen aluminum fr & rear shock towers, front bulkhead, and fr. & rear arms.
