There are a lot of companies that sell AA nimh but the prices are so different. I'll need about 60 so price is a huge factor. How do you charge them? Can I use my Intellpeak or Piranha? How?

I charge mine at 1A in the battery holder for my transmitter when at the track. I use a wall charger when at home.

There all pretty similar for low power uses. They can be had for just over $1 per cell for 2300 mah.

Can the NiMH AA's be recharged with a charger (JR Tx wall charger) intended for NiCd's?

Yes, the constant charger does not know the difference.

I noticed that rechargeable AA's don't all have the exact same diameter, so they dont fit into everything (including my remote, some of them) That's just something to look out for.
