I am now putting my Kyosho Speed Vee 800 boat together and in the manual, there is a supplement that says if you live in a European country you "must" install a "noise filter" in the wiring to the electric motor.

It has a picture diagram and part number for the part that must be installed and apparently is required by law in EU countries.

Anyone know what that is about?

Noise filter...in an electric boat. My geuss it is a capacitor that reduces the chances of glithcing. In electric that is the only "noise filter" i have ever heard about. The capasitor is sometimes considered a "noise filter" because it helps block radio "noise" that could make your boat runaway. :)
