so i want to make my mini T worthy enought to race on our 1/8 scale track, this means that it has to be FAST, but also vary controlable. i was a video on www.one18th.com of that Mini T Freedom Project where the mini T was all aluminum and it made me think. wouldnt an all aluminum mini t with a mamba 6800 be a good thing? i mean, the mamba gives it LOADS of speed and power, yet on the other hand, the aluminum would make it as tough as nails. and it seems like the extra weight would also make it handle more like a bigger car wouldnt it? seems like a mamba + all aluminum = a good combo, what do you guys think?

i would think so because minis are so light they can get thrown around alot when bashing. as for raceing, i am not sure guess it would depend if the track had jumps. if not then maybe better to get the extended chasis rcca featured in the mini zone a couple months back. every part i break often i have replaced with alum, and yes it wont break again cause the truck is still pretty light. but i dont race so i may not be the one to answer.

itll run fine, with the aluminum it wont get tossed around so much, mine has the same combo as the one mentioned above and its a menace on the track since its so fast

so should i get the EVO X conversion from Integy? ( http://integy.automated-shops.com/cgi-bin/webc.cgi/st_prod.html?p_prodid=2724&p_catid=72&sid=4wSJJh1UOHN05yP-54106070398.f7 ) only thing is that theres no bottom chassis in the EVO X package.
