I'm new to electric racing and i'm having a couple of problems I have an
evader st pro and an evader bx pro the problem is with the power each has the same electronics an intellispeed 8t racing esc and a cobalt 9t double
flatwire motor when i give it full throttle from a stop it stops like you killed
the power or somthing both use a dx2 radio system and the light on the
reciever goes off when this happens if you roll on the throttle it doesn't
do it as badany help would be appreciated, and where do comm drops go
i have some but don't know how to use them thanks in advance

Don't use comm drops in modified motors - very little benefit.
The motors you have are generally used in competitive racing, while esc may be advertised as a racing unit - it's not the ideal one to use with those motors doesn't have the amp or capacity in actual use.
What is happening is when you nail the throttle motor may draw so much amps - beyond the esc limits that is may be shutting down or that voltage draw is so high the receiver is being starved of voltage. The other could be brush springs are a tad too light and could be bouncing off comm when you are hard on the throttle causing a momentary current loose. Then it can be a small combination of all the things I mentioned.
Solution - minimize hard throttle use, check condition of brushes if they have worn down in length in only a short time (1-4 runs) try going with a stiffer brush spring start with Trinity 2 Red or Purple on positive, Red on negative. Adding a receiver pack like the N50, 120 or 180MA NIMH should help the voltage problem - but you might have a problem with proper installation ro charging it - some also require slight building or installing the plugs and pins before using which may be uncomfortable for you.
