Yes, Shoe Goo has a permanent place in my toolbox. Don't leave home without it...

I use it for mounting my ESC and receiver on my sedan. Never had any glitches and its easy cleanup if I need to remove them.

Hi Jeep, The shogoo is definately handy to have around, & have use dit a lot. I also use another product called "Eclectic 2000". I originally ran across it in a ladder rack kit for a van (full size). Its more like an OEM type product that sticks a lot like shoe goo but levels out incredibly smooth, stays slightly flexable, is weather proof, & is paintable.
I also use it to set the rear blocks on my GT so that they don't work loose. Works great! :D ;)

where the heck do you buy the stuff? I've been looking for it for weeks!

I was going to start a new thread about it but I saw this one and thought I'd ask here :D

Try a hobby/craft/fabric store for either of these adhesives.

Hmmm... I have always had a tube of this stuff lying around. I have never used it for mounting electronics though ! Nice idea. Do you use just a dab ?

For boats ShooGoo is indespensible. I have recently been using bathroom silicon goo though. This seems to be more malleable and easier to remove.
ShooGoo tends to turn yellow and get really crusty after 6 months or so. That part is kinda no good ;)
