Yes me again,
I now have my m03, and wow, I couldnt even imagine how manoeuvrable and fast (probably not by touring car standards) it is.
I just have a few questions, which Im sure somebody will be able to answer.
Firstly, I have noticed that the Tamiya RTR Mini Cooper has an overall length of 332mm, and so does the RTR Mini Cooper '94 Monte-Carlo, however the m03 Mini Cooper racing is only 315mm (Overall length) even though all are the same scale. Whats the story here? Is it that the real Racing Mini cooper was shorter than the road going one?
Secondly, I was wondering, if I were to tape up the tyres on my m03, would I be able to drift it, or is it impossible because the car is front wheel drive?
Also, if I buy some new wheels for the car (It still has the standard grey minilite's on) what is the biggest I can go for, or do I need to stick to the minilite designs that Tamiya make?
Lastly, what bodies do they make for the m03 - I have seen an old VW van, but this seems odd when the Mini would have been hugely smaller than this in reality. What sorts of bodies do all you m03'ens out there use, or do you just have the Mini Cooper one?
Many thanks.
P.S - What sorts of real world speeds can the m03 do?(mph)
