R/C's are a chick magnet!

People would generally think otherwise, but I have recently seen that chicks dig my T4. I have been driving my T4 around campus and it has been neat. Now my T4 has a 9x2 revolution motor and a couple fairly flashy bodies, so the fact its not one of my slow beat down cars might be a factor.

But really, this thing gets close to same reaction as a cute puppy. I think about 60%-80% of the girls that saw me driving it gave me a compliment, stopped to talk, or at least enjoyed watching me drive. At least as many, if not more, girls were interested as guys. Which is new to me, since normally only guys (particularly dumb guys) care and are drawn to it like neon on a civic. :rolleyes:

Now what is better then a puppy here is that rather then them being interested in just the cute puppy and asking questions about it, they will either ask questions about me, or most likely something that I did to the car. Therefore, as much asking about me as my truck.

So this kind of made my day (as if driving my T4 didn't). With any luck I will meet a lot more women this way and better yet, I will know they like R/C's up front, which is a very good start. Just thought I'd share.

They only talked to u? When chicks see me drive my car, there all over me asking me if they can drive and everything, but there like that all time any way. :D

You might be really luck, when im driving my 1/8 buggy only people that come and talk to me are: security guards (to get out :D), small boys, and old guys no chicks yet

yea, when i drive my nitro truck around, its not chicks, its a bunch of little (or old) kids that come and ask me if they can drive it, then they all leave because they dont like me anymore because thay cant drive t, lol

Funny, I was just out driving my truck and my girlfriend's roommates thought the truck was so cute, blasting around kicking up leaves and stuff. I guess in this case my R/C was a chick magnet! Maybe they just thought it was cute that a college kid was still playing with toy trucks! :)

Hmm, when I drive my big 1/8th buggy (electric), I mostly get comments about how fast it goes and if the neighbor knows i'm making ruts in their lawn. Most people come up to me to ask about it, regaurdless of age or anything. But I haven't driven it around school or anything yet. At the race track I get dirty looks, first because they think i'm a newb trying to race an ofna mbx pro, and 2nd because it's electric.

My neighbours hate me. I live in perhaps the quietest neighbourhood in my town and I have 3 nitros and used to drive a breathed on 170whp Alfa Romeo 33 1.7 16V with a "misplaced" center silencer :D

Try a car that will go almost 1/2 the length of a football field in 1.5 seconds at 70+ miles an hour. They switch from the cute puppy mode to primal mode when they see the rail fly :)

Man I missed so much there wasn't any R/C when I was a kid. Only a Cox 57 chevy on a line that I had once. It was pretty cool. Especially when the line broke :) I think it made it 3 days after xmas before it was trashed beyond repair. I just got into R/C when I retired. Started with 1/8 buggies in Denver at RatRaceway an awsome off-road track. www.ratraceway.com. Then I moved back to Tx and found the drag club. Sold all my stuff and bought two dragsters one is a top fuel and one an electric funny car. It was in Driver last month.

Either one of these will get em lit :) I love building and racing R/C cars. And especially winning races. I took 1st place today with low ET of 1.80 sec. I got 8th in the Car Action VRC race this week too. Not a bad week for an old guy :)
