I need a FM radio for a TC3 that I have; Looking for something FM and Digital. Any experiences (positive/negative) with the KO Pro Mars, Airtronics M8 or Hi Tech Lynx 3D? Leaning toward the Lynx 3D as it is less expensive and has a lot of the features I want.

All advice is greatly appreciated! ;)

It's all about the Airtronics M8! This radio allows you to make every little adjustmnt that you could ever want but it allows you to make them all on one screen. You don't have to scroll through all of those screens. This makes it a lot easier to make track side adjustmts.

I have a question about the M8.

Besides steering trim and exp/dr, what do you need to adjust during a race. In fact, you should have these adjusments dialed in during practice.

The reason I as is, why pay extra for the M8? You are paying mostly for a 3rd channel, which most of us don't need, and for an LCD screen that does nothing but decrease battery life. Why not just save money and buy a CX2P?

TC34Me, the most important thing in choosing a radio is how it feels to you. the Lynx3D, M8 & KO Mars all have all the features you'll ever need, but they all feel different, so one may be comfortable to you but the others might not. If you can, try asking some racing buddies if you could hold the radios you're interested in, & see for yourself how they feel to you. As for me, I prefer the KO Mars, I've been using KO for over 12 years, & I've always been delighted with them....... :)

Leet TC3: The advantage of the M8 is needed when you have multiple cars; That way you can store/recall multiple car setups. Otherwise, the CX2P is a great way to go (I thought about it, as the price is pretty good).

When it comes to feel, I think all feel pretty good. Any thoughts on the QUALITY of the Lynx3D? Anyone?
