ok, well im new to the website, and basically RC, well i have an old Tamiya Hornet, and its stock, but its old, and stupid, so i have some rc under my belt, but mostly from the XMODS!, so im upgrading my level, i have like 230$ bucks, and im going to buy a new car. What is the best thing to get, i want an on road car, not off road car, i was looking at the Team Associated TC4 Touring car. but does anyone got any better idea's?, and does anyone got any GOOD info about the TC4?

Thanx... :)

That choice is probably the best and most budget friendly for you. AE good reputation, good rc cars. You'll definetly be happy with one, and you get to choose from a wide array of hopup parts.

TC4. Its 235 on tower RTR if you would want that. I have a TC3 and its taken a beating and runs amazing. Ive used my Bro's TC4 and its even better (rtr). Lots of mod parts if you ever needed aswell. I havent used other TCs so im not sure of other brands.

i've heard good things aobut the mazda 6 and bmw m3 bodies

i've also heard to get a different bumper, but im not sure which one
ummm other than that, maybe you should get a different crystal for your receiver/transmitter just in case it's on the same channel as your friend's

but probably get a spare set of wheels, they wear out pretty quickly onroad

take a look at the tamiya TA-05

Very upgradeable, fast out of the box.

And I wouldnt be srprised if it becomes the basis for the next TRF kit :)

You could cruise by the local hobby shop and see if they have more spare parts for the Losi or for the Associated.

Or you could get whatever car your friends have.

The Assoc. is shaft drive, and the Losi is belt drive. There are plusses and minuses to each one, but overall, I think most people might recommend shaft drive to you.
