Who is Axial? I've never heard of them, until seeing these announcements lately.

Too boxy. It'll crackarama on the edges much like Protoform's Shoe Box Hummer.

I can actually attest to the strength on this body. The main issue with "square" bodies is the corners. We have made sure that all our corners are rounded properly so that they are very strong, while still maintaining the look.
We also make all our bodies out of .060" Polycarbonate vs. the standard .040" that some other manufacturers use. During our testing we found that while the .060" was definitely the stronger and better choice, it was a pain to trim it out, and that is why all our bodies made from .060" come precut (minus the body mounting holes, exhaust hole, and antenna hole)
I know if you give our bodies a chance you won’t be disappointed by the strength or looks of them.

I just think it's absolutely wonderful that another company is making bodies!
As long as their different in some way. This gives us more choices. :)

I like how Axial put door handles on the bed. That is just as cool as having a dual action tailgate but this is on the whole side of the truck bed. Maybe if there are more innovations like this, the real 1:1 vehicle industry may make something like this and even create side dump pickup trucks!!! Cool - not. It would be nice if you guys would actually look at vehicles rather than dream up something that will never exist.

Little harsh but in some ways true. I do like this truck though, I really think it will look best as a crawler body.

I like this body a lot, it's nice to see a more squared off, truck-like design among all these super rounded racing bodies. My current T-Maxx body is pretty banged up, maybe it's time for a change.

Sure thing, zone of the rearenders. Maybe Axial will make your Ice Cream truck and you and your mommy can paint it for a "together project", you know, like girl bonding or something.
While awneslon's last post got a giggle out of me, let's calm down before a flame war starts up.
I kinda like this body, but with my custom chassis my E-maxx will have the same wheelbase as the XTM Mammoth, so I'm, limited to two bodies: the origonal pickup and the new st body from XTM, and I hate the look of st bodies.

I think the prototype of that body's been sitting at my LHS (The Hobby Place...West Los Angeles) for the past 8+months... if it is the same... the body looks really nice in person

Since when do all r/c bodys have to resemble real cars? if you were racing would you fabricate your own "scale" body instead of going with a crowd pleaser? GROW UP i have seen you fight with another member on these boards and you are just a loser

I like the chunkiness of it. Maybe a good replacement for my H2.
