I tore up my AD2 again and bought a Aluminum Rear Pivot Block for it...However I hear that doing a hop-ups like that will stress and break other things...anyone have suggestions as to what else would be a good thing to hop up while I am at it to avoid more down time???

Or the correct way to go about beefin up the truck so it can take more abuse??

The pivot block on the drake 2 isnt the strongest peice in the world, I would recomend the rock concepts block.Aluminum is good in Key areas like around the hinge pins.
