I have a TC3 and a novak reactor. i would like to know what a good 12t triple would be to put in it? What would be a good gear ratio w/ the 72t spur? And on last thing what the diff between triple and quad? Thanx

I am personally a huge fan of the TOP based modified motors(the Peak Aurora, and the Team Orion Chrome).
I have heard good things about the REEDY Ti motor, and that it is a torque monster.
As for gearing, ask around, check your manual, and EXPERIMENT!
Triple refers to the wind of the motor, it will give you more torque, and less RPM than the quad, whereas the quad will be easier, and have a smoother powerband, plus more RPMs.

I personally prefer D4's. I have a 10x2 and a 13x2...both are great!

The reason that i did not reccomend the D4 motor, is because i have seen the magnets lose power, come apart, and crack. They are fast, but the TOP motors are pretty much bullet proof. Another great reason, is the factory drivers of TOP motors, get the same ones we do(come on, you think you and Matt have the same motor? FAT CHANCE)

I've been checking these guys out, they sell the Epic based motors, Atlas based motors, (Orion?) and the Yokomo based motors... even the Ti motors... www.integy.com (http://www.integy.com) - Plus their battery prices are awesome... loose SMH Panasonics for 59.99... not bad. Anyway, if anyone has good/bad to say about em, please let me know before I get the credit card out... :)

You will hear both sides of the Integy story, some people LOVE them, others HATE them :)

Whaddya mean he was close? He was DEAD ON! The more winds= more RPM's and less torque. He was comparing a triple to a quad, and hit the nail on teh head.

Yeah your right..i read it wrong..MY BAD....but a triplie will still be more RPM's then a single or double...
