ok, i have had my eyes set on the XXX, but after taking a look at the B3 im not sure. both cars seem (???) to have good part support. i would be using it for just offroad racing.
thanks!

Ask some people at your local track and see which they support the most. Thats all i can tell you.

Dude with out a doubt the grasshopper.
theres no question there. No but really theres been more topics about which is better, so your best bet would be to toss a coin up. Or go with the company you have had better experences with.

I am not sure about the XXX as I do not own one (yet :p ), but Associated kits have historicaly performed better when completely box stock.
The suggested baseline set up on the Associated kits pretty much work anywhere.
My XX was (is) finicky and the base set up only works in certain cases.
I have both a B3 and a XX, and between these two I would take the B3 without question.
I know your question was about the XXX, but I thought I would throw in my .02

Cheers

Become really good friends with someone at the track and get whatever brand they have -- this way you can bum parts off of them. :)

Jeepinator, the older XX buggy is not compareable to the new XXX setup, before the XX lacked in steering and couldnt handle rough stuff and smooth stuff with the same setup, not it has changed with the XXX, if your track is REALLY tight the XXX has the major advantage, one of my tracks is SUPER tight and everyone uses the XXXT only.

I think it depends on your driving style. Ive seen fast guys switch back and forth between the two, & have success doing so both ways. The xxx seems to be more forgiving & is easier to drive smoothly. The B3 seems to be more aggressive & can change lines very quickly. If you have very quick reflexes & like to change lines quickly the B3 may be the way to go. The XXX also has a lot more tuning options than the B3. That can be good or bad, depending on how much you like to fiddle with set ups. Either one would be a good choice, just make sure of parts availability for the one you choose. Good luck.

Look, see the little 'search' icon above? Those are there for a reason, just do that little thing, and i am sure that about 20 of these topics are bound to come up.
