I am quite sure that Ne gosh is right, check their web page at www.teamlosi.com (http://www.teamlosi.com) they should have an estimate of when they will be out.

My local track owner said she'd have some by July.

from looks i dont think the XXX-S is going to be that great, (my opinion) it looks like a HPI pro 3 and a Yokomo MR4TC slammed together. Honestly i was hoping pictures would come out soon, but after seeing them, i wasnt even shocked...

The Team will be running production cars at the Reedy. The kit will be released somtime(shortly?) after that.
My best guess? June 15.
Losi's web site says only "late Spring". Everything I've heard is late June-July period. I've been patiently waiting myself. I can't believe mavrick0611 wasn't impressed by the photos. It is a very clean, simple yet advanced car. Their single belt drive is supposedly the most efficient drive system by their own accord. But it's easy to admit it's concievable. Most of all it looks to be easy to work on and setup.

im not saying i wasnt impressed by the photos, it just looks like a HPI Pro 2, a traxxas 4-tec, and a Yok MR4TC, smashed together. But that really doesnt matter. Proformance does. The only TC that actully made a big impression on me a the Team TC3. And im a dirt guy. So i "traded" my Electric buggy for a hpi rs4 and got conned, so a few weeks ago went out and bought a Team TC3, It ruled the track.
I just think the tc3 is better in my opinion, but dont hold me to that till the xxx-s comes out.

The Losi factory drivers that I race against locally are fully stoked about the new xxx-s. I think the biggest comment I've heard was right along with ronb's about being easy to work on. These guys aren't the biggest fans of the current street weapon because of the difficulty you can encounter during setup or maintenance or repair. The're really happy about the new design and say it's going to be a LOT easier to work on. I'm not really a big Losi fan, but I'm seriously considering buying this car when it comes out...

I think the car looks good as well, I only hope it's set-up for standard wheels with standard 12mm hex hubs....

And a Rally Varsion!!!! that would rock!
The scoop I've read is that the XXXS will come with their SW wheel hubs as well as standard metric hex hubs. We get a choice! A concern of mine is the marketing photos did not show the kit with threaded shock bodies. I'm also hoping for a choice of kits. But I suppose we'll have to wait for a SE (Spachett Edittion).
