i finally splurged and got the rpm carriers for all 4 corners on my rustler. when i was changing them i found the e-clips gone from one of the pivot pins and the pins were bent. are there any products or ways to prevent this? also when changing them i found one of the small duratrax bearings had siezed onto the spindle shaft so i have to replace it too. i know everyone says to do it, but listen and buy the big bearings to start, dont waste money on the small ones.

I have had the same problem, find some titanium ones. or you will keep bending them.

If you're bending hinge pins, you should definitely get some titanium ones from Lunsford. They're lighter and way stronger. In short, they won't bend.

I noticed when putting on my new bearing carriers that my hinge pins were bent also. I tried to straighten them the best I could but I can use some new ones. Where can we get some ti hinges and about how much do they cost ? Thanx, Taxman

GPM makes all sorts of aluminum stuff, but with the hinge pins, you just have to stop hitting stuff, plain and simple, i bought my kit when they would stick in those cheap screw pins, they were crap, so i got the hinge pins, and they are not bent at all or anything, because i stay off the curbs and the pipes
