I have a jr Racing radio and receiver that doesn’t allow my car to go ten feet away from me without stopping. I thought the problem was the receiver because i had some old bullet connectors that got hot and burned threw my antenna and I thought maybe that’s what messed it up cause that’s when the problem started so i went and bought a new receiver but now i am having the same problems again. So it must be the radio. I was wondering has anyone else had a problem similar to this and is there anything i can do to the radio to fix it without having to buy a new one. I have basically already wasted my money on a RX when my old one still works.
Its really strange because my old one has a longer distance than the new one. i can get about 20 feet on my old RX vs. 10 feet on the new one. I have tried new batteries but still the same outcome. This Rx has been great in the past i could drive the car out of my church parking lot (over 150 yards) and still have complete control.
