i have a dura trax pirrahna charger. i am thinking about getting a battery that has more mah(i have a 1700 SCR cuurently) can i charge an 2400 0r something higher(im not going to get a 3000) safely? what does SCR mean?

The batterie limit for a pirana is 2000, it might burn up the charger.

no it wont do anything to it. they just don't want you to charge nimh. I used the piranha to charge a 2400 it just took a little longer.

take the chance if you want, but if it burns up, its not under warrenty. its only made or 2000 and under use.

i had to use it for 2400's until i got a beter charger. But if you don't want to take the chance of ruining your batteries or charger like negosheater said don't do it.
