i would like to know what besides a new speed control, slipper clutch and bearings should i do to make my rustler race ready i am thinking of gettin an orion chorme modified and a cyclone speed control but how many turns should i have??

well if you want to make it race ready, to compete with the xxxt's and the t3's you ill need these.
Big bore shocks,
pro ball diff,
machined gears,
rpm hub carriers.

different tires for different surfaces

I have a rustler and i changed out my spur and pinion If you want to race stock i like green machine 3. and some reedy 767s
