D4 and brushes

I'm thinking of getting a D4 14t for my team losi triple xxx spec. I wanted to know how often will I have to change my brushes?

I have a 11x2 and I replace the brushes every 4 to 5 runs.

I have a 15T motor and haven't changed my brushes or trued the comm yet (20 runs). Sure, the performance has decreased, but the motor is still fast. If you have access to a comm lathe, then true the comm around every 10 runs or so and change the brushes.
