right now i have a losi xx i think? iam new to rc cars with all graphite parts some carbon fiber and midnight 2 motor i can move the gear in and out of the motor a bit i have a tempest pro speed control and and a hardly used rs4 pro with bird man motor i am thinking abbout a new motor also but i have this 4 2000 sanyo cells a digital charger and a million parts and tools i got it for $400 canadian was it a good deal oh yeah i have a futaba trasmiter

ok good but i think i want more speed what mod motor should i get me and a friend drag race our cars he has one of the first traxxes cars and an old mod motor and thinks his car is faster were the exactly the same with my stock birdman and i want to wipe his nose in dirt

You know that you cannot usually run 'novice' class with a mod motor, but good cheap ones are Speed Gems, they are fast, and like I said, cheap. Also, the Chameleon would be a good one for you.

i dont race yet and if i did i would use my stock motors this is for fun i have a saying when you think its fast enough it not

stormerhobbies.com has some peak performance bushing modifieds with surface mounted capacitors for about $20. I like the bearings in the Speed Gems but I also like soldering less! :) I have one of both so far.

Use the motors you have now to practice. Remember, you can gear the car to go faster with out changing motors. The winner of the race is not as much who is faster, but who is the better driver. And don't forget, HAVE FUN! When you decide to go modified, I like the Speed Gems, great motors for the price.

i actully live in canada and this is a draG as in strait away and my friend has a mod motor so i cant beat him with my motors just me i tryed in the time i have had my 2 cas i have run about 100 packs worth and my packs are matched too if i didnt say so the guy did race but he was moving and desparate so i offered him 400 from the 800 he wanted and he took it
