I need your help with this. I planned on grabbing the rerelease of the Tamiya Frog (1/10th) and upgrading it with a brushless (stock) system.

But then I ran across this Mini T article looking for brushless systems. Beat Your Truck dropped in Mamba's brushless system in their rig and it looks insane:

That is some crazy stuff.

What about doing this with the Tamiya TamTech Gear Frog? If it's as feasible as the Mini T upgrade, I think this would be the way to go over the the 1/10th Frog.

Any feedback is appreciated.

You may need to use a slightly larger motor than the mamba motor, but other than that, I would assume the mamba ESC can handle it just fine. People run the mamba ESC on larger motors in 1/10 STs (not reccomended, but they do it) and they hold up just fine.

I'm going to drop my Mamba 68K into my Tamtech Frog right when I get it.

my Mamba 68K into my Tamtech Frog.

Which motor and controller specifically are you going to use.

Thanks.
