I was wondering if any of you have had this problem on your bearings that support your diff, mine always get full on dirt and I can hear it crunching inside of the Ball Bearing so now I have to replace them because the other night one of the teflon seals actually fell off. But I dont want to replace them with losi bearings again so I was wondering if any of you knew where I could get some 1/2" by 3/4" bearings to replace the ones that are ruined. I would prefer rubber sealed but I will settle for anything as long as they are not metal shielded. I have already checked Dynamite but they do not make a bearing that size.....

I haven't had a problem.....do you clean your car every time you run it?

wannabe, simple fix... check out page 19 or 20 of the XXX Forum. It's instructions on how to make seals that REALLY work, without using the silly teflon seal they put in the bearing. I bet your bearings are still good, so don't buy any yet!! If you must though, Dynamite DOES make some 3/4 by 1/2 bearings... But I'd suggest my tip before spending that hard earned money. If you're not comfortable making them, I'll be making a bunch this weekend. Anyone else need some?

I bought some Dy-no-mite bearings uh a month ago and they are Dirt Free! I run on a really sandy/dusty track so I clean them once a week (I run every day). My stock bearings lasted about 2 weeks then I could not clean them at all. I even used a RPM bearing cleaner. I dont have a bearing cleaner and dont need one with the Dynimite bearings. If you get sick and tired of cleaning the bearing I suggest Dyniminte. I also use them on my XXX-T and have had them on for about 8 months with not a lot of problems. I used a bearing cleaner twice on them.

I thought the were great too, but Regan LeBlanc laughed at them.

If you clean your bearings as part of your regular maintenance then you will have no problems with the stock Losi bearings.

Believe me I clean my bearings as part of "regular maintenence" but they got so much dirt in them one night that the outer seal actually fell off so I ditched the Losi's and coughed up some cash for new dynamites. But I think I am going to use the Paper seals (aka "oyster" seals... haha) with my old ones and see if they work and then save the dyno's till' I REALLY need em' :p
