Ok, so I've been in R/C for over 10yrs now but I'm having trouble finding high performance parts for the TL01 chassis. I found an ad for GTP California in my April edition of RCCA, but when I entered the web address, I get a "Cannot Find" message. I'd really like to get my pitifully slow Altezza movin' but need good parts. Can someone point me in the right direction?
Much appreciated.

Not really happy with Tamiya right now... if Tamiya had included REAL shocks in the first place when I bought the kit, I wouldn't be burying anouther $65 into a decent suspension. Not to mention, Tamiya doesn't make cool aluminum parts for the TL01.

First of all you dont need to spend 65 dollars on shocks. The plastic super mini shocks work well. Not to mention that they onlly cost 13 dollars for 2 shocks. Also There are some aluminum parts for the TL01. They arent listed though. Atleast not directly. The TG10 almn front hubs and rear hubs both fit the TL01. As soon as the TB01 chassis sells and the TL01 long arm set is out there might be a chance of a TL01 TRF or PRO. Just be kinda sweet to see if they produce one.

Well, I figured I might as well get nice shocks if I must purchase my own oil filled shocks. As for aluminum parts.... Tamiya always seems to ask a premium for their parts and alot of the major alloy parts manufacturers don't seem to make anything for the Tamiya line. (HG, Speed Tech RC) The one company/distributor that does seem to cater to Tamiya owners... GTP California has a non functioning website.
I like my little car, but next time ALOT more research will go into the purchase.

Actually there is alot of hop ups for the tlo1 , gear reductions, aluminium arms ,upper links, knuckle arms, hub carriers... and the list goes on . The only problem is you have to look around little more than with any other touring car.

yeah, I've found some aluminum uprights for the front and rear that will fit the TL01. They're actually for the TG10, but Tamiya says they'll work for the TL01. Still looking around for the arms though.
