Just wondering do you guys use anything to secure or hold or prop the bodies up when you paint them? I am having a hard time making even drop shadows due to not having a steady hand to hold the body in while I paint with the other. thanks.

Tape the body to a box.

Simplest method is a wire coat hanger and clothes pin to more elaborate stands. 4x4 piece of board for base or 2 4in 2x4 form a joint for joining the two piece so it form a + shape, based will need to be routed out or thick enough for nut/washer to be mounted flush, 1/4 piece of threaded rod (28-30 in length) 2 washer, nuts, 1/4x1in piece of wood drill out 1/4 inch mounted to rod with a clip, clothes pin or whatever device to hold body securely. The arm when installed one bolt/nut - washer, then wood arm then washer and nut. This arrangement allows the arm to swivel but be secured when painting body. Leave some or all the trim lines in to use as holding areas, might want to lightly score the area or mark with a marker.
