i have a tc3 with a super rooster a jr r122 receiver a jr xr2 transmitter and a gm3 with a hitech 615mg. i was racing in aparking lot and hit a cone head on, i had the receiver in the foam bumper to save space. so i figure its broke or something i already tryed changing crystals, no luck. this is what the car does when u turn it on, if its on the ground and i push down a lil bit nothing happens will work normal, if i let the pressure off it goes bersurk wheels turning all directions motor going full blast then slow then full again i have no control over it, is it the reciever or what? i already checked all the conections too

Push down? On the shock tower, the RX, servo, ESC????
Tell us what you're pushin' on.

Shock tower, eh? I'm guessing front tower...
If your RX is in the foam for the bumper, I'm assuming that your wires for your ESC, antenna, and steering servo are running through (or past) the tower. Check the antenna and leads to servos for damage. they may have gotten pinched for frayed somehow in the wreck.
If you're not finding anything that way, try this:
Unplug channel 2 (throttle) and try steering left/right. This will check your steering servo to make sure it's functioning right.
Now, unplug channel 1 and plug channel 2 back in. Elevate the car (set it on a brick) and try your throttle.
If they both work, leave it on the brick and plug the steering back in. Take a few steps away from the car and see if you have control of it. You should be able to cycle through throttle/brake/reverse and steering with no problems. If it acts up as you get further away...(more than normal driving) you problem is probably in your RX path. Check the antenna wire closely. Did part of it get hacked off in the crash?
If all else fails, pull the RX out and check for damage you couldn't see with it installed.
It's kinda hard to say exactly where the problem lies, but through process of elimination, you should be able to track down the problem.
Hope this helps.

check for a pinched Rx wire or the antenna is torn, if its that you need a new Rx. If you get a new Rx for like 10 dollar more than the JR one get a universal one from Novak the XXL.

Good advice from all above (except Nairb, he's got it in for the GM3, one ate his truck you know :) ), but are any of your parts graphite ? Graphite conducts electricity, maybe that's compounding your problem...

One ate his truck? No, his truck ate 2  of them! I still keep trying to tell people that they are not for our track, not even a buggy motor, i guess they just won't listen....

Yeah, we'll see how my old Midnight armature (actually, it's the exact same arm of a Paradox & P2K, who knows what else) does in my GM3 can. Personally, I just stay away from those tools of satan... :p

If you bashed the reciever you are problally in need of repair/replacement. now inside the reciever all the electronics are pressed together to make a connection. If they are sepperated inside then when you press on the reciever than it works fine and with no pressure it freaks out try taking the reciver apart and reassembling it and wraping it in elec. tape? TIGHTLY
hope this helps
