Im kind of confused here. I will be racing 4 cells in an L3O. Will the four cell battery last longer than the six cell for some reason if there the same capacity? I dont know where I got this idea but I dont know the answer so any help is apperciated.

Sort of, but it's hard to say if you'll notice the difference. When running on 4 cells, most(though not all) motors have much less current draw than they do on 6, so your system is somewhat more efficient. As long as you're not overgearing the car on 4 cells, then you should get more run time that way. What motors are you going to run, stocks or mods?

I will be running stock and 19 turn classes, but possibly modified.

The batteries last longer because the motor doesn't have to work as hard. A 4 cell car weighs much less than a 6 cell one. That savings in weigh lets the car accelorate faster, for less energy. Also, 4 cell cars tend to be smaller scales, which also saves weight. Overall 4 cell cars will have simmilar performance to the, larger, 6 cell cars. Best of both worlds is the RC12L3.... A 6 cell car for power, but the weight of a 12th scale car! Imagine the same power that pushes a 1/10 scale touring car pushing something that weights half as much!!

A 4 cell pack will also have a little more run time because less cells = less resistance. R.W.
