Anyone have any idea where these go? There's two clovers and a large snake decal, as well as two long white stripes that are roughly 2/3rds the length of the car.

Maybe they were for a rally version?

Thanks!

Hey desfjr1300,
I checked my references and I found this:
GTA 1300 Junior registration no. "TEG 951G"
http://i7.photobucket.com/albums/y293/mikevillena/Alfa%20Giulia%20Sprint%20GTA/alfagta1300junior.jpg
The Autodelta logos replaced the smaller Alfa Corse and the larger white clovers were used. Also note the Autodelta above the grill emblem. On the back, the "GTA 1300 Junior" in white is on the trunk lid, off center and to the right. Hope this helps.:)

MikeV, you are the man! I knew the GTA reigned supreme for quite some time but I had no idea it's list of wins was so extensive.
I guess building the most incredible rolling works of art I've ever seen isn't your only talent!
Thank you very much!

AW SHUCKS!!!! :o :o :o Actually, there are several afficionados who are better informed on this forum; NotWalkinBlind, Mobil1 and AirBoston (Porshce cognicenti) to name just a few.
BTW...ever looked closely at the Alfa emblem? Notice the man being devoured by the serpent? He's saying, "MY GOD!!!!! The cost of these cylinder head rebuilds is eating me alive!!!!" So true...... :D  :D

Yowza!!! Nice pics!!! N0.26 is the closest to being a factory GTA (old fashioned door pulls). The fat fendered one is a later GTAm. I see some regular Giulia's in there too (fancy chrome grill) and recessed door handles. Pssst...AirBoss, any chance you can toss those leftover Alfa shells my way???? :)

"OH MY GOD!!! The cost of these 1/10th scale cylinder head re-builds are eating me alive!!!" :D

Actually some of those are 2000GTVs but I figured they were close enough. Looks like I shipped the last body out by accident so I only have one for now... AND IT'S MINE!

Wow awesome pics AirB! Hmmmm, Alfa's and Mini's at Tsukuba-Vintage "Mini" Days? I'd have loved to been at that one!
But where's the A110's?

I'll have to scratchbuild the distinctive Tsukuba pit buildings, though.

AirBoss is correct, some of those are 2000GTV. My "stinker" reply was because he won't share his Alfa shells :(

Well, being blessed with an abundance of 914 shell's and a severe attention to detail, why he's just spoiled rotten, you know. :D

I wound up doing my A110 stock as it's one of those rare lid's you just can't find, but I REALLY like the red white and blue treatment on the one to the left-Actual team colors, or "just" your usual creativity?

As for scratchbuilding Tsukuba, now you're giving me ideas-I'll toss all the wife's junk out of the basement and fill it up instead with replicas of all the famous raceways, each complete with a vintage r/c racecar in the pit. Mmmmm, the starting grid at Monza!

Or, well, I would, except there's no way I could do it justice the way you could as I can't paint my way out of a wet paper bag, and tossing wifey's stuff would earn me a stay in the doghouse for a very long time!

Yeah, those haughty Porsche-philes sure are a spoiled bunch!!! ;) Wonder what he's up to?? You're not kidding about A110 shells being scarce....I had to force the clerk at my old LHS at gunpoint to order one from Tamiya about 5 years ago. Took about a month before they found one. That's the unpainted shell in the picture. Both of the painted ones were done by and given as a wonderful gift from my good friend Dave (Arecee) who also donated a TL01 , a Mini Cooper and his Fiat Abarth (thanks Dave!). Actually, I have been thinking about a diorama/display base in 1/10th scale. A full grid sounds great but would take up a LOT of room. Heh...I can't paint my way out of a paperbag either!!! lol.. Don't forget to drag a good light source and a table with you on the way to the dog house.. ;)
