I'm thinking about getting one of the bolink dragster kits. They're pretty cheap and I'm just wondering how fun it really is to go in a straight line all the time.

They are very fun, if you likegoing in a straight line about 60 mph. which is cool. But you need a very smooth running space . You wont be able to run on normal side streets. becouse you hit a tiny rock and the car starts flipping like the real thing. its up to you.

i got a bolink pan car, and a 10t motor to go in it, and i can only get it about 3/4 throttle casue at anymore it is outta range,or im trying to turn or sumthing, but i like crazy fast! I can only imagine a dragster!! I say go for it! http://www.rccaraction.com/ubb/smile.gif
wayyyy too cool, and ive hit MANY bumps, and I dont flip mine. Thoe only problem is that the instructions are vague. But the things REALLY fast! Its hard to control when et because the car is so light, but it goes like 35-40 with a stock motor in it. My sidestreets speedlimit is 25, and everyone always goes like 50, and it can keep up...
BTW, try not to spin too much, makes your tires wear really fast.

Thanks guys. I'll pry get one once I have the money saved for my next kit. Sounds like you might benefit from adding lead weights to the front to keep those wheels down a bit. I'll have to scour around for a good place to run one. I know of an abandoned airstrip, but it's kinda far from home. Maybe i'll try and find someone else in MD who I could race. Are tires expensive?

If the drag cars are anything like the legends, Super T and pan cars then they should be awsome
