I am rebuilding an associated RC10 buggy, yes the original. I have some of the bearings I need but am missing some of them, I was wondering how I measure the bearings. Do I measure from the inside where it slips over the shaft then the outer part? Any help would be greatly appreciated, thanks

today bearings are measured in millimeters. A common sixe is 5x10. That means the inside diameter of the bearing (which is equal to the shaft diameter it is mounting on) is 5mm, and the outside diameter (which is equal to the hole the bearing itself fits into, like in the wheel hub or the wheel itself) is 10mm. So then, measure the shaft it rides on for the bearing I.D., then measure the hole it fits into for the bearing O.D.

If you have your manual, that would be best, or if you have a part number sheet, or exploded view, you can get the part number to find it out there.

Also, check out www.rc10.com (http://www.rc10.com) for their website, you can e-mail them, or call them, they could probably help you out there.

Matt, most racing kits from the US use standard size bearings, meaning, AE and Losi do.

RC10 bearings are measured using inches.
Examples:

1/4 x 3/8 - rear hub carrier bearing

1/4 inch is the inside diameter

3/8 inch is the outside diameter
