I think i figured out how to put the stinger armature into a trinity D2 can. I just want to know if i should replace the brushes, they look a little chipped. or will the brushes re-form to the new comm. if i break it in( running motor with no load).. any help would be apprieciated.
if i do need new brushes what would you recommend?
thanks,

yes allways if you cut the comm or replace the armeture replace the brushes.

thanks for your response, the motor has only been run about ten times so i dont think the com needs cutting yet.I called the LHS and they have no brushes, bummer. but i did order two venom fireball motors, which should be in tomorrow, can i take the brushes from that??? and replace those at a later time?? not sure if the venom brushes will work in a D2 brush hood.

just when you get your fireball motors see if the brushes from them will fit in the brush hoods of the D2. if they fit then there shouldn't be any problem.
