So, I was thinking of converting my Sport 2 into a rally car and was wondering what all I need to go about this mod? Has anyone else done this?

Thanks for any input!

ive used a sport 2 chassis on a rally car... moslty its shocks and arms..... but yeah its rather easy....

i still have a hpi rally parts car i can give ya cheap if u want all the parts to do it... all its missing is the chassis.

I don't think coverting to a rally is a good thing anymore. I was going to buy an hpi rally a while back. Until I found out that the bottom of the chassie is open, using the sprint chassie. I chewed up 5 belts driving on the street with dirt getting in, let alone driving in the dirt. If it was a drive shaft I would. The belts get wrecked with one tinny little pebble getting behind the belt & housing.

My 2 cents.

dd it has a underchassis that u put on to it that really makes it stay quite clean... even in sand

ive been runnign mine for 5 years with no problems of rocks in belts or anything

I know it has an inner top body. That has two drivers on it. So you are saying that there is also a bottom chassie cover as well?

Do you got some jpg pictures that you can post?

If it does cover the bottom maybe I'll buy one then, If I can still find one.

Hey RS4rally, where did you get your super nitro rally? I am looking into just getting a used one for cheap, or even getting an nitro mt and converting it to rally spec.

i got it as a bonus in the trade... nitro rally cars really arent as good as the elecs at jumpoing and stuff.... they are really hard to keep on the track if it is really torn up... but for apearance and blastinga round they rule... and yeah i would recomend getting a nmt...t he only difference is tries and body

i'd also get the chassis which only cost $20 bucks on ebay.
